Introducing T-Connect, the next step in Lightning/Firebolt application development.

As announced at this year’s RDK Summit, TV2Z is launching and offering a free LightningJS/Firebolt CTV Application template to the RDK community. This development is a milestone for Lightning development and signals a bold new step in TV2Z’s approach to app development and deployment.

We are proud of this newest innovation and the road we have been on that has led to this moment. For seven years, we have been the experts in building and visualising sleek and modern OTT environments and applications. With the addition of the LightningJS environment in our operations several years ago, we knew that the future would always be Lightning.

As we mentioned in a previous blog written a year and a half ago titled *How our Lightning expertise has stimulated our unprecedented growth, *we wrote that “the fast-paced changing of the streaming industry and the tools to work with challenge us to stay on top of our game. Constantly looking out for the next ways to better our services and improve our ability to build.” The same sentiment rings true today, which is exactly why we have developed a solution such as T-Connect and want to share our knowledge and expertise with the world.

Our Lightning expertise

Lightning is the answer to delivering a unique experience and deploying it across TV operators and devices. TV2Z was proud to be Metrological’s first certified Lightning community partner in 2022. This is a testament that TV2Z is, and always has been, the foremost expert in building and deploying Lightning applications.

What T-Connect offers

Option 1 - Open-source: Templated UI that can be integrated into any backend solution. The templated UI is also free of cost and is yours to develop!

Option 2 - Quick-launch: Templated UI, integrated into TV2Z’s CMS, TV2Z Studio, to enable a quick launch, including standard features.

Option 3 - Premium: Customized Lightning application, integrated into TV2Z’s CMS, TV2Z Studio, including all features.
